meet our founder, charlie ritenour
At 19, Charlie joined the Marine Corps, quickly rising to sergeant due to his technical skills and leadership abilities. During his service, he was deployed to Iraq, where he set up power plants on forward operating bases, showcasing his capability to handle high-pressure environments and complex electrical engineering challenges.
Charlie’s professional career post-military spanned roles in electrical testing, nuclear power plants, biomass generation R&D, and utility engineering and management. There, he managed large-scale electrical systems and led technology upgrades and system modernization.
Motivated by a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions, Charlie founded Colorado Electrical Engineering (CEE), leveraging his extensive experience to provide premier services to various clients.
His vision is to bring efficiency, expertise, and excellence to every project, ensuring satisfaction and reliability for all his clients.
When Charlie isn’t “lighting up” different buildings and projects with CEE, he enjoys snowboarding, obstacle races, the mountains, and traveling.
